Somthing Holy

Cvntology

Something Holy is the artistic result of three performers channelling years of discomfort, alienation & disillusionment into a cathartic release of expressionistic beauty. It is a piece that embraces the nuances between the gender binary enforced upon us, playfully tackling tropes & conventions, holding a mirror to the media that raises us & the spaces where we breathe between. It is a participatory event in which we embody, address & console our fears, & invite you to dismantle them all with us. Step inside.

ALIENS ARE TAKING OVER. EAT SHIT. FILTH IS OUR LIFE. BINGLYBONGLBOOBIES. ILOVEALISONHAMMOND.

“I feel like there’s a lot of personal work I have to do on myself. And no I don’t want to talk about it.” -Ricky Gervais

“A truly transformational piece of theatre. Maybe I’ll stop the attack on trans youth after this…” -Mr Keir Starmer

  • Cameron Sinclair Harris is a performer, writer, gender menace & idiot from Nottingham, currently based in South London. They make surreal, strange, experimental comedic ramblings that will make you go "that's funny!" whether out of admiration or concern. Outlandish & theatrical setpieces are achieved through minimal or often no budget. Cameron's world consists of larger than life characters, whimsical immersion & radical silliness. Their award nominated debut solo show PLANETS!!! has been performed at Soho Theatre, Brighton Fringe, Nottingham Comedy Festival, Leicester Comedy Festival & Lambeth Fringe, and will be at Edinburgh Fringe this year. Something Holy will be the culmination of Cam’s past 3 years at Goldsmiths. No pressure then.

  • I’m Megan I love performing things that are silly and fun for the audience and the actors. I love the core of our performance how we’ve created this and leaned on each other sharing our own experience of gender turning it into a how world . I also love intimacy coordination involving what intimacy really means.

  • Starr is a multidisciplinary community arts practitioner and artist whose work is rooted in community and direct action. Their creative inspirations come from their experience in civil disobedience and grassroots organising. Theatre is a vessel for radical community and Starr’s work tries to centralise this understanding by voicing experiences of those who the state tries to stifle. Rooted in catharsis and hope, Starr has a unique vision of avant garde and experimental world building that allows audiences to explore post revolutionary ideas.

  • A dynamic performer drawn to acting, film photography, and video editing. With a passion for set design and a romantic spiritual style, she brings visual creativity and emotional depth to each project, shaped by her experience in creative direction.
